OT: My Rock 'n Roll Consignments at Heritage
Since there was such a flurry of interest here this week in the rock group Chicago (for some reason): Heritage is auctioning 5 items/packages of mine on Dec. 14, with online bidding just starting today. They all come from my days as #2 editor at the legendary Crawdaddy for nearly all of the 1970s (you know, the good olds days, back when you could get vintage cards for a song or even score an 8-track).
Three of them include signed, very unusual original material from John Lennon, Patti Smith and Tom Waits. Then there's a Springsteen thing. And a photo collection. Rather than describe or hype them here, send me note if you are interested....
