I just won the Clarence Walker Famous & Barr card below from Goodwin.
As indicated on the flip, the photo is not Clarence Tilly Walker--not even close. ![]() I believe I have figured out who the mystery player is and am looking for opinions from those who are better than I at this facial recognition stuff. I believe the card depicts Ernie Walker, a reserve OF for the Browns during 1913-1915 (related to both Dixie Walkers and the uncle of Harry the Hat Walker). Unfortunately, I have not been able to find but one known photo of Ernie--please compare it to the enlarged m101-5 and tell me if you think it's the same guy: ![]() ![]()

You seem pretty good at this facial recognition stuff to me. I think there is a good chance that guy is Ernie. I can't see any morphological reason why he can't be. If we could get a 600 dpi scan of the m101-5 ear, I might be able to say with more certainty (even though it is the opposite ear).

Yeah - with the dot matrix printing there isn't much more I can say other than it is probably Ernie.
