Default Love this "PSA 4"

A little staining. A crease at the bottom. Surface wear. This sure screams PSA 4 to me! Seriously, how is PSA not embarassed by this? If I were them, I'd buy the card, just to relabel it.

Cheers,
Patrick

Default PSA Grade

Collector: "What's up with this grade, doesn't seem right me"

PSA Grader: "Yep that was a tough one, I was torn between a 4 and a 5, but I always grade conservatively"

I don't usually post on grading threads, but wow, this is really bad.

The slab looks dry and crease-free to me. Bid away!

Here's a PSA 7 that I don't get at all. Did 'Harris Collection' cards get submitted by the auction house?

T206 from Harris collection

I don't think the Johnson got wet after being slabbed. Otherwise, you would see some staining on the flip too. I guess anything is possible though.

Mitchell looks like a 7 to me, but it should have a ST qualifier.

On the Mitchell, all corners are bumped except the bottom left - to me it's more than 'slight fraying on some corners'. Also, I don't think the printing blemishes (multiple) on the back are minor.

Perhaps I'm being overly-critical.

NM 7: Near Mint
A PSA NM 7 is a card with just a slight surface wear visible upon close inspection. There may be slight fraying on some corners. Picture focus may be slightly out-of-register. A minor printing blemish is acceptable. Slight wax staining is acceptable on the back of the card only. Most of the original gloss is retained. Centering must be approximately 70/30 to 75/25 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

My bad - those minor blemishes on the back are actually a 'ghost'.

So give it the 'ghost' line at the bottom of the flip, and we're good.
