SOLD: 1873 Daily Graphic Cover - Philadelphia Team Composite w/Adrian "Cap" Anson
Good Morning, Collectors:
NOW PROFESSIONALLY MATTED AND FRAMED!!! Up for sale today is an extremely rare 1873 Daily Graphic Full-Page Cover picturing a team composite of the 1873 Philadelphia Athletics including one of the earliest known images of HOF'er, Adrian "Cap" Anson (bottom, right). This beauty was picked up in a Lew Lipset auction a couple of years ago and has been part of my personal collection ever since. The item is too large for my scanner so the photos provided are the best that I can do but condition is evident.
