1878 "Forbes co Boston" cards?
Anyone familiar with these?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/150760431042 I have a few Tobin lithographs which I guess are kind of similar, but had never seen these before. I thought the cartoon images were pretty funny and ended up winning this ebay auction earlier tonight. Anyway, if anybody has any clue about these I would be interested in more info.

I think these are designated H804-6 cards with a total of 6 cards all of which you were able to obtain through this 1 lot...well done! There are variations of each of the 6 cards (with advertising, without advertising, color variations on the title, no titles/advertising, probably others). Here's one example without any writing. Very nice pickup overall!

Thanks! With the number H804-6, I was able to do a google search and find a few sites with more info. Looks like a set of these was sold in the last legendary auction also:
