Some humorous stuff from a real popular guy-Stengel
From a NY Daily News story today, I thought these were really funny.
Casey Stengel had a million stories and quips and his old players still laugh while retelling some of them. In a mound meeting, he once asked Bob Miller how he felt. “I’m not tired,” Miller had said. “You might not be, but your outfielders are,” Stengel replied. When a writer asked, “How do you keep your boys on their toes?” Stengel said, “We raise the urinals.”
