Default Beginner T206 Question

Pardon me if this has been covered before, but I'm a post war collector who voraciously reads all the T206 talk around these parts and it interests me greatly. I'm not looking to start trekking up the side of 'The Monster' mountain, but I wouldn't mind grabbing a card or two at the next show. Here's my overly simplified question:

What is a reasonable price to pay for a decent shaped common T206?

For instance, when I'm looking to pick up 1972 high numbers that book for around $12, I can usually get them for between $4-5. Somewhere in that neighborhood. That pricing model is second nature to me and the price goes up or down a little based on condition. Do you T206 collectors have a similar 'normal' price that you can usually pay to pick up commons from the set? I'm looking for common fronts with common backs with little to (preferably) no creasing. Again, I realize this is simplified, but what number instantly comes to mind?

Thanks!

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
