A while back I picked up a poster-like thing that says "over the fence records" on it and has heads of hitting stat leaders in MLB history. It seems to be 1949ish. It is a Louisville Slugger ad, it looks like it would have been an in-store piece. (photo below)
I noticed another on on ebay recently and the seller listed it as a reproduction. Which got me wondering about if mine is a reproduction. Does anyone have any experience with these? What I have is extremely fragile, the paper quality is quite poor. I originally thought this confirms its age, but I suppose it is easy enough to print on poor, brownish paper. ![]() |
