Has anyone done an article on this issue? I am curious as to why there are 2 different type backs found on these. Similar to the 1933 Uncle Jacks with the gray and the cream colored backs. In the 1950s, the Baltimore Esskays did it, 1954 were cream colored backs and 1955 were gray.
The 1941 Goudey Skybirds come in both backs and I believe it is considered that the cream colored of these were printed in the US and the grays were printed in Canada. Anywho, I need a few out of the Legendary lot if the winner would like to trade. Thanks Dan |
