Blurring the lines between cards and ads

Some of our collectibles sort of blur the lines between cards and advertisements. As a collector of obscure doo-dads that are pre-war baseball related, here is a recent pickup. I sort of wonder if any kid took his Dad's razor box and cut these little cards out in order to collect them? If anyone else would care to show any blurring of the lines, as I call them, please feel free to post them. That being said I sort of doubt there will be too many but it's all in fun!!

That's a really nice item, Leon! I've used Gillette shaving products exclusively since I started shaving as my Dad did before me. If I was a kid and saw that box I would with out hesitation have cut those cards right out!

Bill, When the kids graduated from my HS. Many flocked to Gillette (or the PD or FD) for that secure career. We were too too dumb. No, too poor for college. They were a great employer, in the day.

Leon, that's a nice item and belongs back home here. That was the year DiMaggio and Williams were all over the papers. A great year for baseball, until December.

Another fantastic item, Leon! When we were 8/9 years old, Finest Supermarkets had the NHL stamps and the book to post them in!
I was hooked! I did them, and the Sunoco Fb ones in 1972, too.
One of my earliest "bulk scores" was from Sunoco gas stations! My
brother and I carried home almost 50 full cases across our town!
We traded them and later sold them to help finance our collections
and for me to open my first store and run my first show with the money!

Hey, it looks like we all did ok, though! I'm just happy I was able to get my daughters to college/med school. Cards paid for it!
