My First Ruth Card
I just want to thank everyone on the Forum who bought cards from me to help me to buy this card. I posted at the beginning of the year in the "What Card Would Make Your 2011?" thread, that a 1933 Goudey Ruth would be IT for me. Well, I found one at a price I could manage. And I think it looks GREAT for the grade.
EDIT: I received the card today and it is GORGEOUS. Better color than the pics make it look by far. And the best part- NO CREASES!!! I couldn't believe it. Here it is:    I'm a small time collector compared to most of you folks, but I'm VERY proud to have this card. I have also gotten a '41 DiMaggio, a T205 Mathewson, some Goudeys, and a few T206 cards from the forum and I'm thrilled with them all. Thanks for helping me get back into collecting and showing me there is a treasure trove of cards that are NOT made by Topps! Last edited by scmavl; 01-24-2011 at 09:30 AM.
