I have the rare opportunity to offer for sale or trade several really nice Zeenuts, some of which I haven't seen offered for sale individually in MANY YEARS. I would also be interested in trading for Zeenuts I need, both HOFers and other cards. Several of the cards I will be leaving open to offers as I have very little to base a price off of. Those that are priced include shipping in the price quoted.
Group #1 "The Good" 1. 1928 Ernie Lombardi (Rookie)--This is Lombardi's first ever item, crease free and clean back--I don't remember ever seeing a clean 1928 Lombardi being offered, tougher than his 1929 & it is his first card. Offers accepted 2. 1925 Babe Herman (Rookie)--This is Herman's first ever item, clean back--I don't remember ever seeing a clean Herman being offered. On almost every Seattle collectors wantlist $450 Traded 3. 1925 Jimmie Reese (Rookie)--This is Reese's first ever item, clean back, also of interest to those collecting Jewish players. $425 Sale Pending Group #2 1. 1928 Solly Mishkin (far left)--Highly prized Jewish player and California Sports hero. $375 2. 1928 Solly Mishkin (middle)--Highly prized Jewish player and California Sports hero. $400 3. 1925 Duffy Lewis -- popular player and tough card from this set. $55 Group #3 "the Ugly" 1. 1928 Earl Averill (far left)--popular HOFer, last Zeenut card of Averill $125SOLD 2. 1928 Jimmy Reese -- popular player and tough card from this set, and of interest to Jewish collectors. It is partially ripped, but not in half and it diplays better than it technically would grade $55 3. 1928 Earl Averill (far right)--popular HOFer, last Zeenut card of Averill $50, and bragging rights to the ugliest Zeenut Averill...ever! SOLD Group #4 "the Tough Types" 1. 1923 SEPIA VERSION -Charles See -toughest off all Zeenut sets are the 24 cards produced in early 1923 that were redated 1922 images, this was done presumably at the beginning of the season b/c the real 1923's (w/o the sepia highlights & different pictures) were not ready for distribution, very limited distribution of this set makes them highly prized in any condition. $65 2. 1923 SEPIA VERSION -Addison Read $79
