Default My T205 Pirates Team Set is Done

Well, about a year or so ago I started to collect/dabble in pre-war cards. I chose T205 mostly because I like the gold borders. I went with the Pirates as I'm from PGH. Also this team is affordable since there is only one HOFer in the group (Clarke).

Anywho, every couple months I would go through a spurt and pick up a handful of cards. Well, when the Clarke arrived today my team set became done (although I might upgrade a few)--a very satisfying feeling.

Thanks to all of those who contributed some of the actual cards but even more so to NET54 members for revealing the world of pre-war cards (previously unknown to me). Now, I'm getting ready to choose my next pre-war project! (yet to be decided...)

Default Minty----

I think the T206 Pirates would be a natural, w/ many of the same players in a different perspective.

Default To answer Blair & Jon---

---I think it would be OK to slip in a reprint for Wags in this case.

Default Stewing

I am stewing over doing a t206 pirates sans Wagner. I do like how T206 has various poses, etc. If I were smart I would just squirrel away a few bucks every week and save up for a t206 cobb red portrait which is what I really want the most

Congrats Pat! Now you've felt the drug of completing a pre-war goal - there's no coming back!
