I picked up this 36" Johnny Bench bat at a yard sale this past weekend. But, I am a card collector, and I know virtually nothing about bats. Is this bat anything more than merely a store model bat? Could it possibly be a gamer? What year/years might it be from? FYI, the end of the knob has "JB6" on it. Many thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide!

definitely a higher grade store bat. flame tempered and the jb6, 6 should be the inch mark . those are always characteristics of a store model.

JB6 - 36 inch store model. The 35+ size store models are slightly more desirable in my opinion (depending on condition and player). I assume that his would be a $30 bat?
