Ok, so a lot of people have responded so far to this, and it's extremely interesting seeing people from all different walks of life. My question is mainly how people became interested in prewar cards? I know for myself that my love for early 1900's baseball has always been much deeper than the game that is played professionally today (even though i luckily still have the opportunity to play pretty competitively). When i realized that there were baseball cards from before the 1950's i was hooked. Anyone else have an interesting story about how they started collecting?

He had vintage cards and Our Home Team postcards that I had never seen before. I did not realize there were cards that old. I was at the show for 2 days and had a great time. I bought my first t card, a t202 Just before the Battle with Mathewson and Meyers. Now it is an obsession/passion that many of you understand, but not my wife or many of my friends.
