Hi All,
I need help identifying a card (and unfortunately I can't find my camera - so I have to describe it and hope I get lucky someone can figure this out!). The card has a cartoonish front, very crude drawing (and in this case it's the back of a baseball player - you don't see his face, and his glove is prominent) - but I think the most distinguishing part is the back. The back is entirely diagonal yellow lines - with a few filled in to make solid yellow diamonds, and most left blank (to make white Diamonds). The card has been obviously trimmed so no clue what the front r back border looks like. It's definitely wider than a T206 (maybe 1.5 times) and is about the same height. I won it in an Ebay lot and when I received it came in a holder that said: "1909 Strip Card S67+3.00". I've never heard of an S type card and when I looked up 1909s in the SCG it wasn't anything they had listed. Wish I had a picture to share ... but can anyone hazard a guess as to what this might be? Thanks! Patrick I recently moved and haven't been able to find my camera yet - so I don't have a picture |
