Default Jeff (hrbaker) I found your E90-1 Chase

About a year ago (7/16/09) I sold a trimmed E90-1 Chase to Jeff. He paid me via Paypal, but when I went to find the card to ship it, it wasn't where I thought it was. I eventually came to the conclusion that I lost the card and I refunded Jeff his money. I told him that if I ever found the card I would just give it to him.

Well today.....almost a year later while looking for something else I found the card. So as promised, the card is yours.

Email me at: crazylocomerk@yahoo.com and give me your address. I'll get the card packed up and it will go out to you as promised.

This was my first and only mishap, but I'm glad I finally figured out what happened to the "Lost" card.

LOST

It was actually where I thought it was the first time around. I had put it into a safe, on the bottom shelf. I looked there probably 20 times last year trying to find the card, pulling everything out piece by piece, but never did. Yesterday, while pulling out some old Civil War notes (to scan into my computer), I found the card between the two bills. How I missed that the first 20 times, I have no idea, but I did.

And thanks guys for the "kudos". I'm all about keeping my word, and a deal is a deal. I'm just sorry it took me so long to find the damn card

Cool story Eric.
Just as a heads up, whenever I have my cards in order, and in stacks of graded and ungraded together, sometimes the ungraded ones (in toploaders) will kind of "stick" to the back of a slab. It seems those little grooves in the slabs are just about exactly the width of the toploaders. Several times that has been the cause of my angst over a missing card....so just a word to the wise on that scenario.

No problem Jeff. Enjoy it!

I'm glad you were finally able to get that one off your list.

Funny thing, for me anyway....I sent the card from a PO that I don't normally send packages from (shady area, and the workers have bullet proof glass in front of them). But that is my pickup post office when I'm not home and I have to sign for a package. Normally I'd go to this one to pick up my package, then I'd head over to another one to send a package But on Monday I didn't have enough time to visit 2 PO's.

I worried from the time I sent it, until you just posted that you received it. I had nightmares that you weren't going to receive it. Ahhhhh, the joys of mind games.
