I just picked up this 1925 Turf Cigarettes card of George Sisler. Does it look authentic? It was pretty cheap, so I guess that is why I'm suspicious.
I'm curious to know more about this issue: was it only distributed in london? Is Sisler the only baseball player? I assume they are talking about his 1922 season where he hit .420. Any info on this card and Turf cigarette cards in general would be appreciated. |
