I always thought George Brace postcards were either blank back or standard real-photo-postcard backs. I thought of them as being in the same category as mass produced 8 x 10 glossy photos and they weren't of much interest to me.
But I just picked this one up on ebay. As you can see, it has a very professionally done back with information on the player. It's similar to a Dormand postcard. Can any of you enlighten me on George Brace postcards? Are they all like this one, with player info on the back? Did he produce various styles? Is there any way to date this postcard? From the text, it's obviously no earlier than 1970. Thanks. Paul |
