Hi-
I recently acquired the ticket scanned below and (as usual) I have a few questions about it. The year 1911 is visible on the edge of the stub and John Taylor's signature is at the bottom. Here are my questions: 1. Is this a 1911 Red Sox ticket stub? 2. How common are tickets (and stubs) from Major League clubs of this era? How common are Red Sox tickets and stubs from this era? 3. Does anyone have a full ticket for the Red Sox from the same time period they could post? 4. I thought the game number might be on the ticket but I see 196 in the box, and 075 at the end of the stub. Does the 75 reference the game number? Is there any way to tell which game this ticket stub was issued for? Any additional information concerning this ticket stub will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Alan Elefson aelefson@hotmail.com |
