Here's a photo of a kid, who eventually made it to the major leagues.
1- Who is he? 2- Correctly identify him, I'll mail the winner the W573 card of Kentuckian Bobby Veach, who hit .310 over 14 major league seasons, played for the Tigers, Red Sox, Yankees, and Senators. A pretty good ballplayer... (That's a Detroit 'D' on his jersey.) 3- First one to post (here on the board) this kid's name wins. If no one has it after a day or so I'll start posting hints, that will gradually get better. So who is this ballplayer? ![]() And this is the card that goes to the winner.... ![]() Last edited by FrankWakefield; 07-11-2009 at 03:46 PM. |

Gosh golly, dang... that didn't last long. 14 minutes... Rhett, you don't have enough to do! From "History of Baseball in California and Pacific Coast Leagues, 1847 - 1938, by Fred W. Lange. ![]() Last edited by FrankWakefield; 07-11-2009 at 03:53 PM. |
