I stopped in a local antique shop today. There on a table was a pile of LIFE magazines and to my surprise, I spotted the 1962 Cleopatra issue. Having run into this issue before, I made my obligatory search for the Maris and Mantle cards. Low and behold, there they were. The magazine is intact and in decent good condition. The cards are clean and tucked neatly in their place for the last 46 years. My intention is to sell or trade this find. I would like to hear what everyone thinks. Do I keep everything in the magazine? Pull the cards out of the mag? Tear them on the perforation? Have them graded? |
