Hi all, I just purchased a 1955 Topps Hank Aaron graded PSA 4 through eBay. The auction is # 200214418748. The seller has a 99.7% positive rating and over 7,500 transactions. The card arrived today and the holder is showing a good bit of frosting around the edges. Otherwise it does not appear to be tampered with. Nevertheless, I am concerned about it. To the naked eye, the card appears authentic and not altered. My question is would somebody attempt to slip something past in such low grade and a relatively available card? The card itself does look a little nicer than a 4 (and the color is much more natural than the scan on the eBay site). Please take a look at the scan and let me know what you think. Thanks. |
