For those of you not familiar with this issue...Mayfair Candies football cards were just the third major football-themed set issued. There are 24 different fronts and 28 different backs(so far). I have been chasing these cards for 15+ years once I became aware of their existence. You can call every sports card dealer in the US and I highly doubt you will find a single card. One of the cards contains Red Grange and is probably his most difficult card to obtain. I have decided to let sell off one of my extras on Ebay. The current book value is $500 but will consider offers (including trade for something I need), albeit mine is SGC-30, but try and find one. I know of 5 other sets and they are tucked away in some of the most elite collections in the hobby and may never surface. Here's you chance. Ebay Item # - 230213976071 |
