1943 War Bonds/ All-Stars game pgm. Poor

Aug 26, 1943 War Bonds All-Star game program. $450 no PP please, will consider trades.

Rare piece of Americana. Quite a nice collection of powerful and inspirational ads/requests from stars to support the war and such.

Player portrait photos and profiles of Connie Mack, Eddie Collins, Tris Speaker, Walter Johnson, Honus Wagner, George Sisler, Babe Ruth.

Also portrait photos of, Arky Vaughn, Gordon, Hubbell, Lombardie, Ott, Keller, Dickey, Joe McCarthy, Leo Durocher, Ed Barrow and others.

Poor, brittle condition and the outer five sheets or so are detached at the binding. The player pages within, that are attached are in vg condition. The team photo (from the actual game day), is one I found on the Net and is not on the cover. Detached pages would have to be placed in sheets.

A better copy sold at Hunt's Auctions for around $500 with a ticket and scorecard.
