I recently purchased a Dahlen-Brooklyn T206 for my low grade collection. When I sent it to SGC to have it crossed over, the card came back as "altered". (Color had been added to the "B")

I am selling it for what I can and chalking it up to a lesson learned.

I'm guessing it's more a case of GAI treating the ink as part of the card's overall wear and SGC treating it as if it was placed there with the intent to deceive.

I don't say this often: I agree with GAI.
