1949-50 Antonio Alcalde Alerta Premiums (Cuban)

One short of a complete set of 70, missing only Ray Dandridge. These rarely seen group of baseball photos are 8” x 11”, printed on thin, semi-glossy photo stock in black and white. The Team name and the name “Antonio Alcalde” are in color, coded by team. The set includes many players who saw time in the major leagues as well as several members of the Cuban HOF and Negro Leaguers. The condition ranges from technical grades of Poor to VG. However, all of the pictures are extremely presentable but have creasing or minor tears, tiny bug holes, staining, writing, etc. (pretty much what you’d expect to finds on Cuban cards from 50+ years ago) I have tried to note any “out of the ordinary” problems. Nonetheless, you would be hard-pressed to find a much nicer looking set though as there just aren’t a whole lot of these floating around.
