1923 V117 Maple Crispette Scarcity

Greetings, I was wondering if anyone collects the V117 Maple Crispette cards? How tough are these cards to locate? I read they are very scarce. Any comments would be welcome.

They aren't impossible to find, but the prices have been going up recently as more people seem to be collecting them. Here's a great web site on them:

Maple Crsipettes, whilst appearing to become ever more popular,
are particularly difficult to acquire in high grades.

PSA 8 has only graded 31 examples with only 5 achieving a grade of 6 or 7

SGC has graded 156 examples but only 8 examples have achieved a grade of 80 or above.

According to Vintage Card Prices there have only been 2 PSA (6 and above)
and 3 SGC (80 and above) public auctions in the last three years.

The most recent auction of a high grade example was in the July 2008 Mastro Auction. The card realized a surprisingly low price, given its extraordinary condition rarity
