Large Train looking to place in the top three tonight. I'm due! (as long as I'm not at the same table as Wolfie.)

The results from the last night's tournament of the 2008 Old Cardboard Texas Hold'em Series are now posted on the Old Cardboard website at http://www.oldcardboard.com/misc/poker/poker.asp.

Congratulations to Steve Murray, who dueled Brett Hardeman in an extended heads-up finale that lasted nearly an hour. Steve finally won by drawing a full-house on the river after calling Brett's all-in with a straight on the turn. Congrats to Steve for his hard fought victory.

Steve's win moved him into third place on the 2008 Leaderboard. However, Rob Dewolf remains well ahead in the standings by picking up 3 points in last night's event.

Next month's tourney is now set up (its PokerStars #104641076; Old Cardboard #9; Password for Registration is c46c46). Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 23 at 20:30 EST (7:30 pm Central). All vintage collectors are welcome to participate. See the link above for details.

Good luck to all.

Lyman
