Here's the story the seller sent to me when I called him on it:

"it's not a reprint. I had it graded and it came back as a 1 so I took it off the slab

- mvpstuff"

I guess he was disappointed with a 1. Must have been expecting a 6 or higher.

That is the same message I received when I gave him the bad news about it not being a Red Ruffing autograph, but somebody indicating it was a reprint.

"IT'S NOT A REPRINT!! I'VE HAD IT GRADED AND IT CAME BACK AS A 1 "

I told him his story didn't wash and that he would end up being suspended or banned as an eBay seller for peddling reprints as originals. Guess it really wasn't graded a 1 after all.
