The scans I had of other Cobb's all had the gray fronts intead of this brown (if thats the color) Is that a cause for concern? I had always thought like some other issues they were colored by which league they were in? In any event...I think it would be a definate SGC 10...look at all that paperloss on the back and in a 2 with SCD (although yes, red). Still would like to have had it though...

That brownish color is from the gloss turning yellow. That card is a V61-2 and is 100% authentic and the color is very common to be yellowed like that.

Only E120 has different colors for the league, the other 3 related sets are really B&W.

B&W
V61-1 (Neilson type 1, thin stock, old english back)
V61-2 (Neilson type 2, thick stock, surface gloss, block back)
W573 (handcut strip card)

brown (AL) or blue (NL) tint
E120

Maybe PSA would slab it a 2...I can't imagine SGC would put it in a 30 holder however.

Dave, I just noticed that the card was in an SCD holder and, more importantly, I noticed that significant tear(?) in the card. The card presents well considering the gouge but I'd have to agree with you. PSA 2 (maybe), SGC 10-20.
