Introducing a pair of new 1/1's from Australia

Finally adequately catalogued, these two Australian-issue cards have just arrived from SGC, and I am thrilled to own the first such cards ever authenticated and graded by either of the major companies.
No doubt there are other examples out there, and probably in nicer shape...but for now I will be narrow-minded and enjoy saying I have the only ones!
Incidentally, the Village Maid back is likely very rare, according to my research-to-date.

I laughed heartily when I read that for the first time, and...you know what? I still get a little giggly everytime I read it.

I really can't imagine wanting to eat or chew anything that tastes like Irish Moss...I mean, I understand it's high in potassium and dirt, but geez.

I'm just tickled (though not pink, cuz that's girlie) that SGC put it on the flip!

Irish Moss Gum Jube's were a Nasty Ass chewin Gum that my Grandmother let me try once when I was about 6 years(43 Years ago). She use to suck on Irish Moss lozengers Too! Wasn't brave enough to try one of them

And Jason, if you ever decide to sell either of those beauty's, Please Let Me Know! They are absolutlty Brilliant Lad!!!

The Irish Moss Gum Jubes were a throat lozenger that were kind of like eating a hard/stale gummy bear.

I don't know a lot about the two issues, but I can't say I've seen the Village Maid card before. The Allen's company released quite a few card sets in the day that were pretty popular, especially with Australian football cards.
