Paul - Mark Macrae can correct me if I'm mistaken but I believe the notations were written by Buck Barker. Mr. Barker would record career information as well as purchase data on the back of his Zeenuts. Nice card and nice pick-up. |

I agree that they look like Buck Barker notations. |

Very cool. So it looks like this card was owned by Buck Barker and Dick Dobbins, as well as someone named Houser. |

Just picked this one up from Steve Verkman. I am hoping that Beckett will be able to grade it with their new oversized holders (up to 9" X 11") as this 1953 Marshall Merrell piece measures 8" X 10". Does anybody have any "inside information" as to when these holders will be available? |

Dave- I'm jealous of the Weaver and Peckinpaugh pickups. Wow. Care to share where they came from, private sale, trade or auction? |

I am new to this site. I found it Friday and love it. I am working on Diamond Stars complete set. My obsession is that I feel a complete set is all "numbers". In this case 1 through 108. Then MAYBE the front differences of Lombardi, Greenburg, Mahaffey... also are needed. It gets expensive. I would love it if someone could talk me out of collecting all the variations, and numbers 97-108. What was it that stopped you at 96? There is a thread today about what constitutes a complete T-206. I could never had started that since I believe the Big 4 have to be had. I have completed all Playballs, but without variations. But those are minor. |

Jason, thanks. I love cards like this, great value for the buck. There's some paper loss on the back. |
