I think PSA has a drug aversion program called KOC (kids off crack) where they train kids on crack how to grade cards rather than smoke crack. Unfortunately, it looks like the program is failing. |

And to think that card was only a 3.5 before they washed it. |

Maybe it's the photo but the right border looks frosty. It's a 2 at best. |

WTF, indeed. What do you have to do to get the "Mark" qualifier? As someone who has submitted a few cards that came back with the "Mark" qualifier, although I was never able to FIND the mark, I gave up. In all fairness, PSA did properly identify the card as an Old Judge. |

Ridiculous. They must have numbered stairs at PSA. They toss the card and it is graded according to where it lands. |

Maybe the 4 has to due with the number of stains on the card. |

Grossly overgraded due to the stains and poor photo contrast. |

So in making the argument that the sole role of grading companies should be to opine whether cards are altered or unaltered, this is as good a candidate as any to be Exhibit A. |

I'm almost tempted to send in a load of cards to PSA. If that's a 4 then I'm sure I have a few 8's. |
