T206 "orange" Snodgrass ???

I thought this might have been discussed before, but I could not find it in the search mode. Anyway, I just bought a lot of T206s and found this Snodgrass to be odd (at least to me). It's not faded (the black of collar, belt and lettering is very dark), but the background is an orange as compaired to the normal red. It kind of reminds me of the orange Cobbs that have been discussed before.

A fairly common oddity ???
Missing a color ???
Other thoughts ???

cool card scott!
your snodgrass is a cousin to the orange cobb variation. it's a legitimate variation in my opinion. the red/orange variation is missing the final red ink.
some orange varieties are "washed out" looking, but when you have a crisp orange.....where the other colors are not affected, i think the result is a really beautiful true variation.

I think that is a great card too. I have been collecting T206 print variations for a long time. I was making a feeble joke about the Snodgrass ebay listing. Here are a few other "orange " t206s and a Dahlen "no B".
