while David Grimes dealt mostly with non=sport cards and ephemera - I post this here as some of you might have come across him in one manner or another.
I just got a call from Scott Hassel who is at a trade show without access to a computer. He received a call from David Grimes sister that he suffered a heart attack and died last night. The funeral will be some time Sunday afternoon but I have NO DETAILS. I am so saddened as I counted David as a friend. I believe he always did things honestly and will be missed as a interesting person - loving father - knowlegeble dealer willing to share and I'm sure much more. I am in the middle of something important and can't deal with this right now nor do justice to David's memory. I will try and post tomorrow and I think Scott's wife will call me with the funeral information. RIP David ever the Englishman. This one's for you
