How rare are these? I set a snipe on a couple last night but got pretty much blown out of the water. |

Sorry Dave, not much to add other than that they are uncommon and the prices were not surprising to me. I would have also liked to pick one up for a couple hundred, but didn't have my heart in it at these levels. Zach Rice sold a group in the past year or two so he would know better. |

I have followed these for several years. They are very scarce and the prices seemed about right, maybe even a tad low.....There are 3 different kinds of them....all being fairly equal in supply, from what I have seen.... |

Not really sure if all players are known in each type but I have seen more Benders, like the one I have, than any others....and all have the same style....My guess, and this is only a guess, is that each player could be found in each style...Don't ask why I would guess that as I don't know....that's why it's a guess... |

This may sound stupid..but who made them? I'm assuming somebody called Baseball Bats? What were they? |

They were part of a candy box that said Baseball Bats Candy on it...one side was a player. The big book SCD has a picture of a full box in it..... |

They’re tough cards, however, if you’re looking for just a single of any player and of any of the three types, finding one won’t present too much of a challenge. Over the past year I have seen at least 20 different examples sell. I believe them to be much easier to find than similar cards of the era (J=k Candy, Orange Borders, etc). |
