Since when can ebay sellers charge a buyer's premium to attach to the winning bid?

Sounds like he's basically saying that the buyer will pick up the ebay fees - which are about 5%. I looked for the extra charge to use PayPal, but didn't see that one.

Rob- I went ahead and reported him right after I posted and the auction is now gone. I just didn't want to see a dangerous precedent started where ebay sellers started getting buyer's fees.

Good job, Bob.

You know, it's odd how eBay is sooooooo slow to move on auctions in which the seller repeatedly misrepresents items as being vintage when they in fact were manufactured within the past year, yet eBay is swift and complete when it comes to removing auctions that could cost the company money (such as a seller charging a fee to use PayPal, adding a buyer's premium that could discourage bidding, etc.).

Probably just a coincidence.
