I am in a Hotel on Atlantic Ave. in Virginia Beach as we speak [write] staring at the Atlantic Ocean out my window. I am here several times per year but live on the West Coast.

I'm on the Maryland side of the Washington, DC area. I love Richmond. Up until a few years ago, I used to go to major shows (250+ dealers) a few times a year that were at the Fairgrounds building. Plus I love the night life in Shockoe Slip/Bottom !!!

Has anyone ever tried to coordinate a vintage baseball meeting in the Richmond area ? (No, lets not start that, right Mark ?)

Indeed, my "coordinating" days are behind me. But, I would consider attending a dinner planned by others, perhaps even in Richmond (a pretty good hike) depending on the circumstances. Mark

I grew up in Richmond, VA.. went to school at VCU.. spent the next 7 years in Northern VA.. but have recently moved away to NYC.

How is VA treating everyone lately?

Although I "grew up" in extreme northern New York State (St. Lawrence County) I have called Virginia home for the past 34 years. I live in Midlothian (about 18 miles Southwest of Richmond).
