Pre-1920 cards in all sports and non-sports totals just over 100,000 cards. Just counting baseball cards, around 60,000. The rest are mostly boxing, hockey and non-sports. |

Since the USA didn't enter WW I until 1917, couldn't we count Cracker Jacks, m101's, and such? |

Hey Joe...I wish all of them were N172. a lot of the old judge cards I have are non-sport related. Just historical. I have about 103 N172 cards, and several of them are duplicates of the same cards just in deffereing conditions |

Wow. Annnd bringing up to the rear ... I have around 110 pre WWI cards in my collection, give or take. So few that I can actually still see them all at once by just spreading them out on the kitchen counter if I move a few things around. |

Me too....Since type collecting isn't really about quantity, I bet I only have about 200-300, not including generic baseball decks, from pre-war....My total collection isn't much larger than a T206 set.... |

A question for those whose pre-war collection ranges from 1000 and up: how many of those cards are t206's? how many are e-90's? how many 19th century? |

Just checked my not so up to date spreadsheet and came up with approximately 250 pre WWI cards. Add in my few CJs, m-101s, Goudeys etc. and my entire collection is no more than 350 cards. Until now I would have guessed the number was significantly higher. (p.s. This does not include my 1972 Topps set that I bought on a whim cause I think they look cool) |
