Interesting....are the W516's supposed to be the likeness of the player or are they more like the e91's where they are more general drawings of ballplayers? maybe just me...but that hardly looks like Johson?? Interesting though |

Here are 2 T204 Johnson cards, one with a Ramly back the other with a TTT back. Sorry about the other cards, not smart enough to know how to crop em out. |

The reason that the W516 card doesn't look like Walter Johnson is because it isn't him. It is Yancey Wyatt "Doc" Ayers, who was with the Senators 1913-1919, and the Tigers 1919-21. Doc lived in the same town where I grew up, and he always seemed to be in the barber shop when I went on Saturday afternoons. I have a copy of this same photo, identified as Ayers, that was used in a contemporary newspaper, but can't put my hands on it at the moment. |

Thanks...its really not too bad with creases..but there is the two areas of small paper loss that kill it. It may have gotten an SGC 20, not sure. |

didnt even notice the paperloss until you mentioned it - it doesnt jump right out at you. If the paperloss was on the reverse, it would definitly get a 20 - Im not sure how they would treat such a small spot on the front. |

Yup there is the small spot by Johnson..and then there is a gray dot..not sure what that is..above is head to the left in the yellow....but all in all very happy with it for an affordable Johnson |
