			Posted By: Rhys Here is the first ever animal mascot card I can think of.  Circa 1907-08 Michigan Wolverines RPPC issue of the the team captain with the original Michigan Wolverine.  Issued about the same time as the Dietche postcards John posted, but very, very scarce. |

			Posted By: Dan Bretta I suppose it would be awfully hard to tame a wolverine so the dog will have to substitute. Actually I don't think it was unusual to have a dog as a college mascot back then...in fact I wouldn't be surprised if it were the norm. |
