The magazine mine came from was in bad shape. I bought it framed already but took it out once to look at the back. It is well worn and Im sure the magazine/cover was falling apart or close to. The guy that framed it also put the back cover with a Walter Johnson picture (B&W) behind the Matty front cover pic. So I have both covers. |

You can make a digital copy and print it out. I had an 1873 Haprer's Weekly of the Philadelphia Athletics-- composite of all the players. I scanned Cap Anson, matted and framed it and it looks nice on the wall. Collectors can do this with smaller photos, postcards and cards. A major positive is that you don't have to worry about sun or display damage when they're reprints. |
