This is as good a time as any to show off your cards of Negro Leaguers. I'll start with an Acebo Lennie Pearson even tho he's not up for election. He was a hell of a player, tho, and a "close" friend of Effa Manley, one of the potential HOFers. And there's also my avatar, and Aguilitas Alejandro Oms. |

Johnny Britton, who along with Jimmy Newberry was the first African American to be signed by a Japanese professional team. Black ball players had been touring Japan and Asia for decades, but Newberry and Britton were the first to play in the regular professional league. |
