from 1909-1913 the M101-2 ?? the reason i ask is that i found a few in a local shop and they are advertised this way, the jackson i found books at $600 or better, the speaker books for $100, frank baker $60 and about 20 others that come in around $12...any resale value to these? |

Yes I collect them as do a lot of people on this board. I think one member has a very neat framed display of them as well. They are popular. Check ebay as there where some that recently sold and some there now. The Jackson is the one that sells for the most and a great image of him as well. What is the asking price for the lot? |

i'd have to go back and ask the price, i dont think the guy knew exactly what they were worth as he didnt have a price on each one, unless he changes the prices with the market, the prices i did see on the $12 ones ranged from $3-$7 |

These are quite popular and I'll throw my name in the bucket with interest in any that are or might be available. They do make very nice display pieces when matted and framed. |

Well when you find out the prices I would love to let you know what I think. I would not be a buyer of these items as the only one I need is Wagner, but I did want to offer my help in giving you a value on them. I think this is what this board is about and I did not want to turn this into a I want to buy them thread. |

triple those 'book' prices. You can't find a NICE condition 'common' for under $30-$50 anymore. They are very condition sensitive. A friend who's a lurker on here also collects them. The double-paged team ones are really neat....... |

I have a Ira Thomas and a Johnny Kling in the M101-2 Sporting News Supplement series, which I matted in nice Rosewood frames. They make great display pieces. |

I personally like the ones that have the full background of the field. I have framed a few. Prices really vary but a decent looking HOFers tend to go for around $40. I was recently finally able to win the A's team, I tried for a long time to win one of those team inserts. |
