Question re: Richard Simon

Hi Folks,

I saw in the Tuff Stuff Autograph "removal" topic below that Richard Simon was mentioned as a well respected autograph authenticator.

Back in '97-'98, I won several auctions of various autograhed items from a Richard Simon Sports. Mainly run of the mill stuff including newspaper clippings, cuts, ads, etc.

I have maintained a habit of noting from whom I bought all item I ever won on eBay, so I still have the original shipping envelopes. LOL

Anyway, is this the same Richard Simon mentioned in the Tuff Stuff article, and what is his reputation in the auto authentication biz?

Same guy. Simon is well known and has a strong reputation in the hobby as an autograph expert.

I also used to be heavy into the autographs. Richard has always been great to deal with - a class act and his stuff is good.
