| Slabbed Reprints

Posted By: Chad Why does anyone do this? I'm seeing several of the Leland Josh Gibsons for sale on ebay, some of them slabbed by SGC. And they get bids! If I draw some doodles of Babe Ruth on a 3 by 5 inch piece of cardboard, can I get them slabbed by a grading company? The can even stamp "Doodle" on them, as long as they get slabbed. Somebody will buy them, I think. Ach, I'm just crotchety because I got shut out on all the Toleteros' this morning. I guess I'm gnome-ing. |

Posted By: Chad I was just thinking how much I'd like to have one when--poof!--there it was for free with my order. If I do sell it, my tagline will be, "Want to own the world famous Josh Gibson ROOKIE without spending THOUSANDS of dollars!!!!!!!" |

Posted By: Elliot Remember Max, GST and PST is payable on the value, having Andy mark this as a gift will not get you around your obligation. No wonder Lelands never sent you one! |
