How many reproductions have been made of 33 goudey #53 Babe ruth? What companies made them, and what years were they reproduced? And who knows a fake to the original?

In person, fake Goudeys are easy to spot if you are familair with the real thing. You will almost always see the red band bleed thru to the back on a real card. This doesn't happen with the fakes. The safest bet though is to buy a slabbed Ruth. 99.9% of the raw Ruth and Gehrig Goudeys on eBay are fakes.
