I own a few cards from the Fan Craze sets and I have seen the reprints so I am wondering if I am the only one who feels these are the reprints: |

They look off, but the scans are so crappy its hard to tell. I won't be bidding though. |

the cards look fine but the seller mentions they are most likely glued to the backing board |

I saw that item and thought reprints too, though with the poor photos its hard to tell. Fan Craze reprints just look too dark, with that charcoal like finish, whereas the originals are crisp. |

Also--fan craze are almost always found with nice backs; why would anyone glue them to a sheet of carboard like that? I suppose as a portarit collection...but yes, they do APPEAR too dark. Terrible scan! There were recently 25-30 Fan Craze on ebay from one seller, and he had sense enough to sell them one at a time. Still, he realized less that premium prices for them (which for some reason are going through the roof) because he sold them all at once, though separately. I won two. Have 20. |

Here are three Horner photos on Fan Craze. Not the greatest Fan Craze. | Archive | Net54baseball Vintage (WWII & Older) Baseball Cards & New Member Introductions | 4 | 11-15-2004 10:03 AM |
