Tip-Top Weekly help?

I have a Tip Top Weekly magazine from May 16, 1908. It's not in too bad of shape. It features a story called "Dick Merriwell's Money or, Playing a Losing Game". Does anyone know anything about these publications? Do they hold much value? Any help is greatly appreciated.

With the advent of ebay, these have become commonplace, and hold little value, unless two of the few collectors are fighting over a particular issue (of which there were many different titles in the series).

Dick Merriwell and his predecessor uncle [I believe] Frank Merriwell were the creation of Gilbert Patten, who wrote under the pseudonym Burt Standish, as well as a few titles in his own name.
